The cover songs which i enjoy the most, ranging from popular classics like 'All Along the Watchtower' to some lesser known covers.
Great cover of the Cure classic that packs some surprises.
I am convinced Bowie wrote the song for them. The whole MTV unplugged features even more of my favourite covers.
Great version, always fun to listen to. Will confuse your friends.
Works extremely well with her voice.
The original is much less popular than Kim Carnes 1981 cover, and for a good reason, because this cover brings a huge amount of energy into the song.
Has the same youthful undertones as the Beach Boys original, but brings more forward momentum to the table.
Very beautiful cover that really underlines the creepyness of the original lyrics.
Pretty much THE cover song.
Fantastic Mixture of Shoegaze/Dreampop and Pop, a combination where Lush really shines.
Jackson Brownes mature lyrics are a much better fit for Nicos more honest and raw Version.
Maybe the most beautiful song of all time.
Fits very well on Pet Sounds, the album features similar lyrical themes to “thats not me” for example. Definetly a standout song on the album and in their entire Discography.
Definetly check out the whole album. Bowies songs work well in portugese and with the laid-back style.
The Curtis Mayfield classic in Fishbone style.
Good Punk Cover.
Nice Ska Cover.
Beautiful Cover. Give it a listen if you like the Joni Mitchell Original
Lacks some of the emotion of the original, but is still a mad chill cover of a great song.
