1. Katuobomb 2 & other Ikiki Games

In Katuobomb, you mount fishes to make them start to tick like a bomb. Aim them at the evil Robots to kill them. If you ride a fish for too long, it will explode and you die. This absurd premise is typical for Ikikis Games. While the Mechanics of Katuobomb 2 are Simple it is really hard to master, which is true for almost all Ikiki Games. There are even better ones out there, like the Tepoman and Nikujin Games, trust me!

2. Super Crate Box

Super Crate Box

Super Crate Box is the legendary Game that kickstarted Vlambeers Career into indie-dev stardom. It has multiple stages and weapons, which it forces you to use because it is the only way to increase your store. Use the Weapons tactically and switch just at the right moment to survive! There also exists a mod for Multiplayer by the creator of Nuclear Throne Together (YellowAfterlife), but I haven’t tried it out yet.

3. Little Architect

Little Architect is reminiscent of Tetris, but plays completely different. A flood is coming. Luckily tiles are falling from the sky, but watch out! they can hit you. Wall jump your way upwards to escape the water, kick and headbutt Tiles obstructing your Path and build Platforms and Ladders to help you. Watch out, your Building Materials are limited. Oh, also, don’t get hit by the Monsters. And while you’re at it, collect some Diamonds!

4. Canabalt Classic

Canabalt is the OG Endless Runner Games. It was resurrected from its Flash Origins in a Web Port. It was even included in the video game collection of the Museom of Modern Art.

5. Pigments

In Pigments, there are 6 Different Stages in which you need to color in Tiles while trying to not get hid by dangerous razor disks. The disks only move in slow motion as long as you don’t move, making it not only a game of dexterity but also of strategy and foresight. If you manage to color in enough tiles, you will unlock the next level, creating a very satisfying game loop.

6. Pullfrog

Pullfrog is like Tetris, but you can only move blocks by grabbing them with your tongue. Additionaly you are able to destroy blocks with your tongue. You get upgrades to your jump height and tongue range. Win to unlock new playable characters!
